Leading to the end...

Gatsby would probably still be alive if none of this had happened.  He and Daisy were driving through the city, and Daisy was very upset.  She said that if she drove she could calm done.  So, Gatsby let her drive his car.  Oh, how I think to myself often if he just hadn't let her drive, he'd still be here.  Even though I know it was for the best.

Daisy ended up running over Myrtle, who happened to be having an affair with her husband, Tom.  I don't know if she did it on purpose or not, but odds are she did.

Later on, Myrtle's husband George ended up finding out it was Gatsby's car that killed Myrtle.  Of course he was going to kill Gatsby, the little source - who just had to be Tom - failed to tell who was driving the car.  That surprises me none, though.  Tom was what I could call an honest a-hole.  I wish nothing but the worst for that man.

Daisy may not have belonged with Gatsby, but I do wish she had found better than Tom.  She can't go back I know.  They have a child together, and I know it's best they stay together for the sake of that child.

Gatsby is dead now, found in the pool with a bullet inside him.  His legacy will always live on through the Great Gatsby as scholars read and analyze this book for years to come.  Long love The Great Gatsby.
